Noting that this figure indicates that approximately one in five people owns cryptocurrency, Sönmez emphasized, "In Turkey, which is one of the densely populated countries in its region with a population of over 85 million, it is seen that nearly 5 million people hold cryptocurrency. Considering that this report was prepared in May 2024, before the crypto law was officially published in the Official Gazette, we can easily say that this figure has exceeded 5 million today.
