Investor Nic Carter Shares "Undeniable" Bullish Expectation for Bitcoin
Nic Carter, co-founder of Castle Island Ventures and co-founder of Coin Metrics, predicts that Bitcoin (BTC) will hit six figures this year amid the looming debt crisis.
In a new interview with Kitco News, Carter says that despite the recent pullback in the market, Bitcoin could "undeniably" reach $100,000 in 2024.
"On the first day of the year, I think Bitcoin was trading in the range of $30,000, maybe $40,000. At one point this year, I estimated $80,000. We were very close to achieving this recently. $100,000 doesn't seem to be out of the question this year."
In addition, when asked if the price target in 2024 will remain at $100,000, Carter says:
"Oh yes, there's no denying it. As I look forward to the next two or three years, I'm very, very constructive about the price. I think that Bitcoin thesis is confirmed. I think this really got institutional approval from SEC with the approval of ETF. We are now seeing other jurisdictions endorse ETF's. I think Hong Kong is fast tracking."
