Spanish Man Arrested, Accused of Teaching North Korea How to Evade Sanctions With Crypto



A Spanish man, Alejandro Cao de Benós, has been arrested in Madrid for allegedly teaching North Korea how to use cryptocurrencies to evade US sanctions. The arrest came after an Interpol alert and an arrest warrant issued by US authorities. Cao de Benós is accused of organizing conferences on cryptocurrencies and blockchain in Pyongyang in 2018, bypassing US sanctions.
