Another Solo Miner Solves Bitcoin Block For $160,000
A solo bitcoin miner recently won a $BTC$ 'lottery' by solving block 793,607, earning 6.175 BTC ($160,100). This was made possible by the Solo CKPool software, which returns 98% of bitcoin rewards to the miner. Bitcoin's current hash rate and difficulty are at all-time highs, making it unlikely for miners to submit the correct hash without adding more machines. The odds of this win were estimated to be one-in-5,500 chance.
