So the whole Bitcoin treasury narrative is starting to shift pretty noticeably. A bunch of cryptocurrency companies and even some governments that were sitting on massive BTC holdings are actually starting to unwind positions now. It's kind of the opposite of what we saw a couple years ago when everyone was racing to accumulate.

The interesting part is how this plays out across different types of players. You've got some corporations that bought in at lower prices now taking profits, and then there's the government side which has different incentives entirely. Either way, it's changing the supply dynamics we were used to.

What's worth paying attention to is how this affects the overall narrative around institutional adoption. The whole 'companies should hold Bitcoin as treasury reserves' thing was a pretty powerful story, and seeing it unwind means the market's probably going to need a new catalyst or at least a rebalancing of who's actually accumulating at these levels.

I've been watching a few cryptocurrency companies specifically to see who's still committed to building Bitcoin reserves versus who's taking a more tactical approach. The divergence is pretty telling about where people actually stand on long-term conviction versus short-term trading. Definitely something to keep an eye on if you're trying to understand where institutional money is actually flowing these days.
