Deep Tides TechFlow message, April 6, according to the AXIOS website, four U.S., Israeli, and regional officials familiar with the talks said that the United States, Iran, and a group of regional mediators are discussing the terms of a potential 45-day ceasefire agreement, which could ultimately put an end to the war. The sources said there is little chance of reaching a partial agreement within the next 48 hours, but this last-ditch effort is the only chance to prevent the war from rapidly escalating. The 10-day deadline set by President Trump for Iran was originally set to expire on Monday night. But on Sunday, Trump extended the final deadline by 20 hours and posted a new cutoff time on his social media “Truth Social”: 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Eastern Time. Trump told AXIOS on Sunday that the U.S. is conducting “intensive negotiations” with Iran and said that an agreement could be reached before his final deadline expires on Tuesday. (Jin10 Data)
