Golden Finance reports that on April 5, CGTN quoted other sources as saying that the United States has officially notified Israel that negotiations with Iran have reached a deadlock. Additionally, Axios cited two sources involved in the negotiations as saying that mediators are still trying to facilitate direct talks between Washington and Tehran, but to no avail. So far, Iran has rejected any proposals for a temporary ceasefire.
