It is reported that the tallest bridge in the Middle East and an iconic project in Iran was targeted by U.S. and Israeli attacks. The bridge is a flagship project in Iran’s engineering sector, described as one of the most complex engineering achievements in the world. It is part of the core road infrastructure of the Tehran–Karaj transportation corridor, and was originally planned to be officially put into operation soon. The attack caused damage to the bridge’s main structural components, and the relevant sections have been fully closed. The local government issued an emergency alert urging the public to avoid going to the area. The attack also led to a power supply interruption in parts of Karaj. (CCTV International News)
