$200 million directly evaporated! The Solana ecosystem is really bleeding this time...

Woke up to shocking news—Drift Protocol, a core project on Solana, was hacked. Reports say the loss starts at a minimum of $200 million.

With that amount, the hacker isn’t just stealing money—they’re probably bringing in a truck to stock up, right?

Probably the most painful part right now is for those brothers who have been diligently storing funds and participating in interactions for airdrops.

It really echoes that old painful saying in crypto: “You care about the interest and expectations, but hackers care about your entire principal.”

DeFi yields are indeed attractive, but the security risks of smart contracts are sometimes like a blind box. Even top-tier ecosystem projects, once targeted by hackers and vulnerabilities are found, can quickly turn into ATMs.

After such a big incident, it’s unclear how the project team will cover the losses. SOL’s price is likely to come under short-term pressure as well.

Only trading cryptocurrencies, never storing them.

They say it's hackers, but it's actually insiders colluding with acquaintances to commit the crime!!! Same old tricks.
