Chegg Inc. announced that director Renee Budig resigned from her Class I board position and was immediately re-elected as a Class III director on March 25, 2026. This reclassification was done to ensure equal composition across the company’s board classes, moving her term expiration from June 2026 to the 2028 annual meeting. The company stated this move preserves her continuous board service and allows stockholders to vote on her re-election once every three years.
