People’s Financial News, March 24 — On March 23, the Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission released the “Work Plan for Optimizing the Market-Oriented Business Environment in Shenzhen by 2026.” The plan proposes accelerating the commercialization of intelligent connected vehicles. It promotes the construction of Shenzhen’s intelligent connected vehicle government supervision platform, implements graded and classified opening of test demonstration roads for intelligent connected vehicles across the city, and explores pilot programs for autonomous driving technology in scenarios such as public transportation, taxis, ride-hailing, and logistics delivery according to regulations. The plan also aims to promote large-scale application of functional unmanned small vehicles. Nanshan District and Bao’an District will serve as pilot areas to unify cross-district standards for commercial operation, technical standards, and regulatory frameworks for intelligent connected vehicles, and to promote road network connectivity and mutual recognition of qualifications.
