Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 21 — According to The Block, Grayscale submitted an S-1 registration statement to the SEC on Friday to list the Grayscale HYPE ETF, which tracks the Hyperliquid native token HYPE. If approved, it will trade on Nasdaq under the ticker GHYP.

Consistent with other funds under Grayscale, this ETF will be custodied by Coinbase Custody and will use CoinDesk benchmark pricing data. The document also notes that the HYPE staking feature is currently not permitted, but there is potential to meet “staking conditions” in the future.

Grayscale is not the first institution to file for a HYPE fund; 21Shares and Bitwise both submitted related applications at the end of last year.
