Iran Announces Ceasefire Conditions
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated that the only way to end the war with the United States is "the recognition of Iran's legitimate rights, payment of reparations, and the provision of solid international guarantees against future attacks."
President Raisi made a statement regarding phone conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the US-based social media platform.
Raisi noted that during his discussions with Putin and Sharif, he reaffirmed Iran's commitment to peace and stability in the region.
He also said that the only way to end the war initiated by Israel and the US against Iran is "the recognition of Iran's legitimate rights, payment of reparations, and the provision of solid international guarantees against future attacks."
US-Israel Attacks on Iran
While negotiations continue between Tehran and Washington, Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28.
Iran responded with strikes against designated targets in several regional countries, including Israel, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (BAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located.
In the US-Israel attacks, many high-ranking officials, including Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, were killed.
According to Iranian officials, 1,332 people lost their lives in the US-Israel attacks.
