As an ordinary cryptocurrency investor, I want to discuss these three soul-searching questions from my holding perspective:

1️⃣ Bitcoin rebounded to $70,000—is this a "safe haven" or a "typhoon eye"?

Honestly, seeing Bitcoin rebound under the shadow of war, my first reaction was to reduce my position. We used to say Bitcoin is "digital gold" and a safe-haven asset. But this time, the situation is quite interesting: gold and oil are rising due to safe-haven demand and supply concerns, with clear logic. Is Bitcoin's rise because the "digital gold" narrative is finally being recognized by the mainstream? Or is it just because global liquidity hasn't tightened yet, and hot money is looking for an exit?

I think, the $70,000 level is very delicate. If the situation really spirals out of control, the first reaction of global capital will definitely be to rush towards the most traditional, most consensus assets—gold and US Treasuries. As a high-volatility asset, Bitcoin might be temporarily mispriced (liquidity squeeze). But if the conflict is "manageable tension," then Bitcoin might become a transit point for funds fleeing traditional finance due to its "censorship resistance" and "globalization" attributes. For me, $70,000 isn't a safe endpoint but a checkpoint where you need to buckle up and observe.

2️⃣ Gold vs. Oil vs. Bitcoin—who is the strongest king in chaotic times?

If I had to rank them, at this crossroads, my view is:

· Oil: The most direct, most aggressive "war inflation play." As long as there's even a hint of trouble in the Strait of Hormuz, oil prices will surge. It's the source of inflation but not the first choice for wealth storage because of its volatility and dependence on actual demand.
· Gold: The most stable "safe anchor." Humanity's consensus on it has been strong for thousands of years. Whenever tensions rise, gold's gains may not always be the largest, but they are the most reassuring. It serves as a yardstick for whether other assets are "safe."
· Bitcoin: The most radical "future gamble." It is transitioning from a "high-risk asset" to a "store of value." This rebound proves its potential, but its size and historical backing are still far behind gold. If the situation escalates, Bitcoin's volatility will be the greatest—rising fiercely and falling hard.

So my conclusion is: for short-term trading, choose oil; for long-term stability, pick gold; and Bitcoin is my lottery ticket to hedge against "fiat currency credit collapse."

3️⃣ With inflation expectations rising, can the Fed still play the rate cut card?

This is the real big issue that concerns our wallets. The market's biggest fear now is "stagflation." If war causes oil prices to soar and pushes inflation higher again, the Fed will be in a tricky spot—economic growth may slow due to the war, but prices keep rising.

If inflation data rises because of oil prices, the Fed is likely to delay rate cuts or even signal a more hawkish stance. For the crypto market, this is a "pumping machine" effect—higher capital costs, valuation pressures on risk assets. So, looking at Bitcoin's rebound now, I actually care more about tomorrow's crude oil futures and tonight's US Treasury yields. "Expectations of rate cuts" are the real king of the bull market; war is just an interlude.

Final words:

Posting this on Gate Square isn't to predict the future, but to chat with brothers who share the same anxieties. In these days of information explosion, artillery fire, and K-line battles, how are you adjusting your positions and strategies?

Are you adding to gold ETFs for stability, or bottom-fishing Bitcoin for the future, or sitting on the sidelines waiting for the wind?

Feel free to share your views in the comments, so we can find some certainty amid this turbulent market. Wishing luck to all, and may your holdings stay safe! 🙏
