🚨 UPDATE: The United States has posted its lowest corruption perception score on record.

Here’s the snapshot:
– Current score: 64/100 (down from 75 in 2015)
– Now level with the Bahamas
– Ranked behind Uruguay, Barbados, and Lithuania
– Outside the global top 20 since 2017
According to the report, contributing factors included reduced enforcement actions related to foreign bribery and foreign agent regulations during the Trump administration period.
The CEO of Transparency International warned that the downward trajectory is concerning and could persist if institutional safeguards weaken further.
And this isn’t isolated to the U.S.
The United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, and Brazil also recorded historic lows.

The global average fell to 42 — the weakest level in more than a decade.
Denmark maintained the #1 position for the eighth consecutive year.
Nearly two-thirds of countries now score under 50/100.
Bottom line: Governance standards are under pressure worldwide.
When institutional trust declines, capital flows shift. Strategic positioning matters more than ever.
Stay informed.
