Acurast: Test on the Lesson of the Decentralized Revolution in Computing

The world is at a new stage of technological development. Alongside the expansion of artificial intelligence, Web3 automation, and the proliferation of applications handling massive amounts of data, global demand for computing resources continues to grow relentlessly. These devices are already powerful, widely distributed around the world, equipped with secure cryptographic chips, and capable of functioning as distributed computing nodes. Such an architecture automatically solves the old problems.

Acurast’s Achievements: Scale and Reality

The project has already proven that the concept works. On the Acurast test network, over 160,000 real smartphones are connected, functioning as active computing units. Participants are located in more than 140 countries, making this network truly global. The community has reached 75,000 active members (“cloud rebels”) seeking alternatives to centralized solutions. During testing, the network has processed over 500 million transactions — these are not experimental games but real production workloads.

A Decentralized Network for Real Tasks

Acurast has already moved from theory to practice. This is not just a research project — it is a functional system supporting real production tasks. The true test lies in demonstrating that a decentralized computing network can be stable, reliable, and scalable. Combining the global distribution of smartphones with an architecture specifically designed for security and transparency makes this project one of the most decentralized and proven computing solutions today.

Thus, Acurast shows that the future of computing does not necessarily depend on a few cloud giants — it can be built on millions of private devices controlled by their owners.
