A viral hit earns more than 1,000 mediocre pieces of content, and it also meets people's spiritual needs. Compared to deifying, people actually prefer to demonize. Going with the flow, the public's jealousy and imbalance find an outlet, and collective judgment brings a fleeting sense of power.
