Silver Price Forecast

Silver has been described as "gold on steroids" recently, showing much higher volatility. It is currently trading near $77–$80 per ounce after a wild ride earlier this year.
Near-Term (Feb 2026): After hitting a peak near $120 in January, silver suffered a sharp pullback. It is now testing support in the $74–$82 range.
Long-Term (Year-end 2026): Bullish forecasts remain aggressive, with some analysts and AI models targeting a return to $100+, while more conservative bank estimates cluster between $56 and $65.
Key Drivers:
Industrial Demand: A structural supply deficit (the 5th consecutive year) and demand for green energy technology are propping up prices.
Gold/Silver Ratio: The ratio is currently around 61:1. If silver begins to outperform gold again, this ratio will compress, leading to rapid price gains for silver
