News from Elon Musk or someone influential in the crypto market tweet or FUD on X can destroy the entire TA setup within minutes. Sometimes it's just a random comment, trivial and meaningless...
2. Whales & bots dominate
HFT bots and whales can create fake volume, spoof order books, making RSI/MACD/Moving Average meaningless on short timeframes.
3. Excessive emotional influence
Crypto is mainly driven by hype, narratives, fear & greed. Weak fundamentals (and many coins without revenue), so charts are constantly overridden.
4. Lack of analytical data due to a still immature market
Many altcoins only have 2–4 years of data → patterns repeat less, prone to overfitting during backtests.
