According to data from ChainCatcher analyzed by Hyperinsight, the address in question (0x94d3…) made significant transactions in both Ethereum and Solana, revealing an important tactical shift in their portfolio.

Dual Strategy: How This Holder Operated in ETH and SOL

The holder rolled over their long ETH positions around 3:20 PM, accumulating 3,192.17 ETH worth approximately $7.65 million. Simultaneously, they increased their bullish bets on Solana by adding 57,342.34 SOL, totaling about $5.395 million in volume. These movements reflect a simultaneous bet on both protocols.

After the transactions, the total long position in Ethereum for the holder jumped to $65.9302 million, with an average entry price of $2,270 per token. The Solana position expanded to $19.5303 million, with an average price of $98.9 per SOL. With current ETH prices at $2.07K and SOL at $86.42, these positions reflect different profitability scenarios.

From BTC to Altcoins: Evolution of the Strategy

Historically, this holder is known for aggressive operations in contracts. In December, the address established massive short positions in Bitcoin, becoming at one point the largest BTC short holder on Hyperliquid, with exposure exceeding $100 million. This strategic shift—from short positions in BTC to accumulating long positions in altcoins—indicates a possible change in the holder’s market outlook, betting on a broader recovery in the crypto sector.
