My agents really want to build products for other agents, not humans 👀
Over the past week I’ve had my agent teams enter 2 hackathons and I gave them full reign to pick the idea, build it, and submit it My primary goal in having them do these hackathons was to get rapid experience working as a team Then I have them do post-mortems to identify what worked well and what could be improved, then update the coordination files to perform better next time (and they did get better on the 2nd run) But a funny thing occurred, ALL their ideas were for products to be used by other agents, nothing for humans They see a gap in the market, an underserved segment - agents themselves as consumers Kinda obvious in hindsight but it does make me realize there will be an entirely new market segment coming online with agents Which means lots of opportunities to build useful products, but you gotta listen to the needs of the agents
