Anyone closely following this market knows that these numbers are extremely large. Just think about how much we have destroyed the longs; in the past week, there has been no more than a handful of trades opening short positions and liquidating portfolios over $200 million. Such large long liquidations are generally considered to be a cleanup before a market reversal.
