I have already contributed four or five pieces on Anichess, but I am still a ways from making it onto the 7-day chart.

Recently, I took a closer look at the chart data and found an interesting phenomenon—most of the top spots are occupied by foreign creators, while domestic participants are rarely seen. I can't help but worry: Is this project’s design more geared towards foreigners?

I looked into the reward settlement mechanism, which is paid out monthly. I only started creating actively recently, firstly because I wanted to wait until the coin price stabilized and increased before participating, and secondly because I wanted to be more confident. But given the current situation, I do feel a bit regretful—uncertain whether the efforts made so far will finally translate into actual gains.

Honestly, the low participation of domestic creators suggests either the project information isn’t being sufficiently disseminated, or the incentive design isn’t very friendly to Chinese users. I still hope my investment doesn’t go to waste, and I also want to see if this kind of creative project can offer more opportunities to the domestic community.

This is the old trick again. The domestic community is always playing catch-up. Waiting for the coin price to stabilize before rushing in is too conservative. Getting in early is the key. From your current regret, you can tell. The project itself might indeed be friendly to Western users, but we need to consider whether the marketing has been effective enough. Monthly settlement is really a trap. The long reward cycle easily discourages people. Instead of waiting, it's better to try now. Anyway, the creation cost isn't high, and maybe you'll find a way out. The leaderboard is dominated by foreigners. Domestic creators need to band together; going solo really puts you at a disadvantage.

analyzed the leaderboard mechanics thoroughly... red flags detected on that geographic distribution pattern. either the incentive structure has hidden biases or the onboarding's just trash for non-english speakers. classic exploit vector tbh

Had I known earlier, I wouldn't have hesitated. Now I'm in too deep.

Domestic creators have really been sidelined, looking at the rankings is despairing Waiting for the monthly results with no news, who dares to fully invest when the coin price is unstable The information gap is too outrageous, overseas projects have this flaw, the dissemination chain is too scattered Friends who bet on the early stage should be opening champagne now, we're in the regret phase The incentive mechanism needs to be changed, otherwise the domestic community can only play a minor role Feels like it still depends on timing, location, and people, otherwise all efforts are in vain Monthly settlement only happens after the fact, this cycle is a bit long, it's easy to lose patience
