The collaborative arrangement between the healthcare company and the prefecture officially commences on January 16 and extends through March 31, 2032. Under the terms of this long-term agreement, Alfresa will be responsible for maintaining container pharmacies at its Osaka Distribution Center, complete with pharmacy symbol markings for easy identification. The company will also conduct comprehensive pharmacist training programs and coordinate the rapid deployment of these mobile pharmaceutical units whenever Osaka Prefecture requests emergency support.

The container pharmacy symbol represents a critical component of the disaster response framework, enabling healthcare workers to quickly identify and access pharmaceutical resources during emergency situations. These mobile facilities will serve as satellite pharmacy operations capable of providing essential medications and medical support services.
