Vistra has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement with Meta to supply over 2.6 gigawatts of electricity from its nuclear power plants in Ohio and Pennsylvania to support the tech giant's AI and data center expansion. The power supply is expected to begin by the end of 2026, with the full capacity of the existing nuclear plants coming online by the end of 2027, and planned plant upgrades gradually coming online between 2031 and 2034. Vistra expects these transactions to increase its adjusted free cash flow (from operations) by 8-10%, with the upgrades also contributing an additional 5-7% growth.
