Society's definition of labor contains implicit biases. Traditional employment does not require actual output to receive compensation, yet gaming activities that demand the same focus and self-discipline are often devalued as unproductive. This standard of value judgment is arbitrary. Some projects are re-examining this issue—through token economic models, allowing various skills and time investments to be fairly rewarded. The underlying logic is straightforward: if an activity can generate real value, why shouldn't it receive economic compensation? This approach breaks the boundaries of traditional labor definitions, making income sources more diverse and democratized.

Playing games to earn coins should have happened long ago. The older generation insists on saying "not focusing on the right things," but in the end, their work output is even worse than some blockchain game players.

No problem with that. Why shouldn't playing games be considered work? If it makes money, it has value. --- The token model indeed is deconstructing traditional views of labor, but truly implementable projects are still few and far between. --- I'm frustrated; people around me still say I’m addicted to gaming, not realizing that I’ve already been making a fortune in GameFi. --- Ultimately, value judgment is about power and discourse, and this is where Web3 is the most impressive. --- It sounds ideal, but it depends on how the distribution is handled. Don’t let it turn into a capitalistic game of cutting the leeks. --- Why do we have to wait for projects to recognize us? We are already creating value; we just haven’t been seen. --- I love this logic. Finally, someone dares to say that the traditional standards of society are fundamentally flawed.

Finally, someone dares to say it directly: making money by playing games. The previous standards were truly ridiculous.

In an era where you can make money even through gaming, are you still working for the boss?

Finally, someone dares to say this. The traditional definition of labor has always been ridiculous; playing games doesn't count?

Well said. The traditional definition of labor is hypocritical. Why can't playing games to make money be allowed? --- This wave of token models has indeed broken the deadlock. It was long overdue to break this kind of class division. --- The key is how to define value. Why should the time invested in games be cheaper than in an office? --- I love seeing the breaking of boundaries. The democratization of income sources has long been overdue. --- But the problem is, who will guarantee that the token economy won't become the next tool for cutting leeks? --- If the idea is right, it all depends on whether the team is reliable. Many projects are still just exploiting users.

This point hits the mark. The traditional definition of labor itself is a joke... Game streamers can earn a fortune, so why is it that playing games is considered leisure? The token economy indeed breaks through this hypocrisy.
