In the crypto world, privacy and compliance are often seen as mutually exclusive—privacy advocates think transparency equals surveillance, while compliance proponents believe secrecy equals money laundering. But in a truly regulated financial system, these two things must actually operate simultaneously.

Think about the logic of financial markets: once counterparty information, real holdings, and sources of funds are exposed, information asymmetry can be immediately exploited by clever players, causing the entire market to be strategically scrutinized and torn apart. At the same time, the financial system must undergo rigorous audits, anti-money laundering checks, and a barrage of compliance reports. If you fail to do both well, you won't earn the trust of the market or the approval of regulators.

Therefore, sustainable on-chain finance is not a simple choice between privacy or transparency; it’s a more complex engineering challenge—requiring precise design of each process and permission.

The reason Dusk has recently gained more serious attention is precisely here. It doesn’t treat privacy as a mere marketing gimmick or compliance as empty words in promotional copy. Instead, it directly integrates privacy and auditability into the application layer, creating a set of components that developers and institutions can genuinely use.

By early 2026: DuskEVM plans to launch on the mainnet in the second week of January, Hedger has already released an alpha version, and DuskTrade, aimed at regulated securities and investment funds, will officially launch in 2026 (open for the waiting list in January). At the same time, over 300 million euros worth of tokenized securities will be moved onto the chain. These events together no longer make it a vague statement like "we are suitable for regulated scenarios," but instead use a concrete architecture to deconstruct and implement the core contradictions of regulated finance one by one.

This is the right path, it's not a matter of choosing sides. --- Privacy and compliance have never been in conflict; it all depends on how you play it. --- Dusk's set of tools really has some substance, not just talk. --- Finally, a project has come to clarity, rare to see. --- The real test is just beginning; let's wait and see the performance in 2026. --- Instead of arguing about privacy or transparency, it's better to see who can truly implement it. --- Speaking of which, how fierce would it be if these 300 million euros worth of tokenized securities really go on-chain? --- Compliance and privacy go hand in hand; it's easy to say but requires real skill to do. --- Anyone familiar with finance knows that privacy protection and regulatory audits are really two sides of the same coin. --- DuskEVM mainnet launch in January? Keep a close watch then.

Alright, finally someone has clarified these two issues—it's not a case of either/or. That's right, if privacy is fully transparent, it truly becomes a cash machine; if compliance is fully confidential, it truly becomes an underground casino. Dusk is indeed taking the righteous path this time, not just empty talk. The tokenization of 300 million euros worth of securities—that's real gold and silver verification.

To be honest, this is the right way. The previous all-or-nothing tearing apart was too exhausting. Dusk is indeed doing real work this time, not just talking pretty words. Let's wait until the mainnet launches in 2026 and see if it can really get off the ground.

Well said, privacy and compliance have never been mutually exclusive. The real issue lies in design capability. This is what I want to see. Stop making slogan-like promises. Many projects that previously boasted about privacy have become Ponzi schemes, and those claiming compliance are just making empty promises. Dusk's approach is indeed a bit different. Looking forward to the DuskEVM wave in January. Only real money can speak.

You are absolutely right; this is the proper approach. Privacy and compliance do not have to be mutually exclusive—that's a false dilemma. Dusk's system is indeed different; they are truly building engineering solutions rather than just storytelling. If all these milestones in 2026 are achieved, on-chain finance might really need to change its strategy.
