People often misunderstand what I'm criticizing about the algorithm—I'm not just talking about visibility metrics. As someone who actively curates my feed and carefully engages to fine-tune my information experience, I can tell you this used to work exceptionally well. Now? It's mostly noise. The quality of what gets surfaced has degraded significantly, and it shows in how fragmented the discovery experience has become for users trying to maintain signal over noise in decentralized social networks.
