Want to scoop up the new meme coin star? The key is to learn how to read projects with real funding entering the market.

Fake prosperity is most likely to appear before and after a new coin launches. Many people are blinded by the price increase and end up getting trapped right after they buy in.

Here's a simple way to identify such situations—keep an eye on three numbers: Market Cap (MC), Trading Volume (V), and Number of Transactions (TX).

Low market cap combined with high trading volume and steadily increasing transaction count? This is likely genuine money entering the market. But if you only see the price surge while the transaction count remains in the single digits, beware of pump-and-dump schemes.

For example, community memes like "Groot Cat" or "U-shaped Pill" can quickly reflect hype, but hype itself doesn't change much—especially for coins that jump 70-80% within minutes but have almost no change in transaction count. Those are often traps. Seemingly hot data can hide extremely poor liquidity, making it almost impossible to sell.

Deep waters are normal, but doing your homework and avoiding common tricks can significantly increase your chances of making money. Don't be fooled by false prosperity.

Another cliché story about low V and high V on MC... I've seen this too many times. The problem is that most people simply can't understand TX data, yet they still rush in.

I don't even look at TX when it's still in single digits. A few minutes of an 80-point increase is useless; if you can't sell, it's just worthless paper.

Damn, I didn't notice the move where the TX number doesn't move last time, and I got trapped for two months directly after entering.

TX, this thing is the real deal, definitely check it out before bottoming out.

It's still worth chasing a single-digit TX? Are you looking for death?
