In the early days of crypto, we cheered for "code is law" and dreamed of a fully decentralized world. But reality always loves to play tricks—when hundreds of trillions of dollars in real-world assets are ready to be on-chain, Wall Street’s institutional investors are stunned. They are used to trading in dark rooms; how could they accept that every large transaction is thoroughly exposed by blockchain explorers?

Privacy rights that are taken for granted in traditional finance have become a luxury on public blockchains. This contradiction is right there, and it’s simply being seen through.

Dusk Network has recognized this pain point. They chose not to become radical disruptors but instead aim to be reshapers of financial architecture. Their clear goal: to build an ecosystem for assets worth billions that complies with regulations while locking in transaction privacy.

**From foundational infrastructure to commercial implementation**

Dusk’s 2026 roadmap is very practical, not just empty promises in a white paper, but tangible, iterative plans.

In mid-January, DuskEVM mainnet officially launched. This is not just a version update; it’s like opening a door—EVM compatibility means developers who write code in Solidity can get started directly, without learning a new language from scratch. Ready-made tools, existing experience, and an established ecosystem can be used immediately. This is a huge advantage for attracting developers.

The combination of privacy technology and compliance frameworks is exactly what traditional financial institutions lack most. Dusk sees this gap as an entry point and plans to expand from here into higher-layer applications.

I'm curious to see how the combination of privacy + compliance will turn out, but first I need to ask—has Dusk's privacy protocol audit report been released? Are there any known attack vectors? EVM compatibility is smooth to use, but those classic Solidity vulnerabilities are still carried over, and re-entrancy and similar issues must be prevented. It's easy to make promises in the whitepaper, but I haven't seen a chain that truly implements the privacy + regulation logic...

Ha, this is reality. Ideals and business will never align. The folks on Wall Street never wanted to be seen through; privacy is money. Dusk's path is a bit interesting, but is it feasible? By the way, EVM compatibility is indeed a good move to attract developers, saving them from starting from scratch. Privacy + compliance sounds like walking a tightrope between the fish and the bear paw... If we can really attract large funds, then such a solution is indeed necessary. But I don't believe any of the promises in the white paper anymore; let's see if it can really come to fruition. Pragmatic choice? Or forced compromise? Anyway, it's much more reliable than those projects that keep shouting "complete decentralization."

Hmm... Can privacy and compliance really coexist, or are we just storytelling again?

Ha, finally someone sees through this deadlock. Privacy and regulation are truly a trade-off for Wall Street. EVM compatibility is quite clever; lowering the barrier is the fastest way to attract developers. But execution is the key, right? If institutions' assets are truly moved on-chain, failing to implement privacy properly would be a joke. Dusk is on the right track, but whether it can survive until 2026 is still uncertain. Feels like they're telling the "this time is different" story again... This is what they really want: a combination of privacy and compliance, which is more practical than those pure decentralized idealisms. Basically, if you want to eat a piece of Wall Street's cake, you first need to learn their game rules. A roadmap looks good, but it’s better if it can actually run once launched. Still, better to wait and see.

Ha, this is reality. When idealism meets money, it falls apart. That group on Wall Street just can't handle transparency and openness. Dusk's approach is still somewhat interesting. Privacy + compliance, this is the real key to attracting large funds. EVM compatibility, developer-friendly to the max, but ultimately it depends on whether the applications can keep up with the pace. It seems Dusk really wants to do something substantial, not just talk about whitepapers.
