A veteran of complex financial investigations, Tan brings over two decades of experience investigating fraud, asset misappropriation, and regulatory violations across the region.

Tan’s Track Record In High-Stakes Financial Investigations

Before rejoining FTI Consulting, Tan led the forensic services operation for Greater China and North Asia at Control Risks, where she managed investigations for multinational corporations and high-net-worth individuals entangled in disputes and fraud cases. Her portfolio spans serving as an expert witness in civil and criminal proceedings, conducting forensic due diligence on major transactions, and architecting internal control improvements for firms post-acquisition or investigation.

Her core competencies center on unraveling accounting irregularities, detecting conflicts of interest, tracing misappropriated funds, and identifying regulatory workarounds—the exact terrain where disputes in Asia-Pacific often emerge.
