#2026年比特币价格展望 Many friends have privately asked me, how to grow small funds into great wealth? I recently encountered a quite typical case, so I’d like to share it.

A fan started trading with me in June, with a principal of 3,500 USDT, which grew to 260,000 USDT in four months. Don’t get the wrong idea—this isn’t some black technology, nor is it a reckless gamble. The core logic is actually very simple—first figure out “how much I can lose at most,” then calculate “how much I can make.”

The fundamental reason retail investors lose money is very painful: they jump in without even thinking about how they might die. The concepts of stop-loss and take-profit seem basic, but in reality, they are the dividing line between making money and losing money. Truly.

Here are a few methods I use daily that you can directly copy:

**Short-term Contract Trading: Stop-loss must be aggressive**

Trade short-term with 5x leverage, aiming to earn 6 to 8 percentage points. The stop-loss red line should not exceed 3%. This is not romanticism—it’s mathematics. With small capital and high leverage, a 1% loss could lead to liquidation. I personally trade ETH short-term, entering with only 10,000 USDT each time. If it drops to 3%, I cut without hesitation; if it rises 6 to 8%, I take profits immediately. The single-trade gains may seem small, but over two weeks, you can earn an extra 5,000 USDT. The principle of small gains adding up applies here.

**Mid-term Spot Trading: Let the market pressure work for you**

To catch a 40% big move, mental preparation is key. Don’t be scared by a 5% pullback. Set your stop-loss at the previous low or at the 4-hour MA60—this is your real “lifeline.” Take-profit should be executed in two steps: when the gain reaches 35%, sell half to lock in profits; use a trailing stop to protect the remaining position, and if it retraces 8%, exit completely. Exiting at a relatively high position already beats 90% of the market.

**Position size is the key to life and death**

This might sound absolute, but it’s the truth. When your position is light, even if you set a stop-loss at 8%, you can sleep peacefully; once your position is heavy, even a 2% stop-loss can make you restless. Remember this: holding a full position without stop-loss is like driving on the highway with a broken brake disc.

**The final survival rule**

Stop-loss is your lifesaver; take-profit is the dividend the market gives you. Every time you make a trade, think of it as your last one: how to lose, how to survive? Once you’ve figured this out, then consider how to make money and how much you can earn.

Opportunities will always come in the next cycle. But if your principal is gone, no matter how bullish the market is, it won’t matter to you at all.

There's nothing wrong with that, but how many retail investors can actually implement this approach? Most people are still greedy and overestimate their abilities.

35,000 to 260,000? That number sounds outrageous, but the logic isn't wrong—most people just can't follow through. Going all-in without stop-loss is really asking for death; I've suffered losses several times before I finally understood. Risk management is easy to talk about, but when it comes to actual losses, everyone forgets it all. It all feels like a mindset issue—greed is more deadly than anything. This methodology isn't anything new; the problem is, how many people can really follow the plan and execute accordingly?

You're at it again, scamming people to make money, from 3,500 to 260,000, acting like you won at cards.

Stop-loss sounds simple, but you realize how difficult it is when you actually do it. Well said.

the math checks out but honestly... 3500 to 260k in 4 months screams survivorship bias to me. what about the other hundred accounts that got liquidated trying the same playbook? ngl the stop loss discipline part is legit though - most degenerates won't even do that much

That's quite true, but I still think most people simply can't do it; the psychological barrier is too hard to break.
