actually... the whole "CME gaps are price magnets" thing is such a meme. like, have we done the math on this? what's the actual probability distribution here versus random walk expectations? tbh most traders just pattern-matching at this point, not thinking about the underlying information theoretic foundations of why gaps should matter at all
