#密码资产动态追踪 XRP breaks through the $2.1 mark, will the bears suffer a major defeat?

The recent market situation is quite interesting. According to data from mid-January, XRP's price has indeed been strongly breaking through the $2.1 barrier, currently hovering around $2.12. From the trading volume, buying momentum is still quite strong.

The current situation is as follows: the price is stable around $2.10, with the main resistance at $2.25 and support at $2.05. Such a rapid breakthrough of an important level is usually accompanied by a surge in trading volume.

Will this really trigger a short squeeze?

From a technical perspective, this possibility exists. When the price forcefully breaks through the psychological barrier of $2.1, a large number of short positions will be forced to close their stops, often causing a chain reaction that can be quite fierce.

Several signals are worth watching: First is open interest. The open contracts for XRP futures have now returned to a high of $3.8 to $4 billion, indicating that market leverage is increasing. Second is the chain reaction of stop-losses—if the price stays above $2.13, the accumulated short stop-loss orders above could be triggered one after another, forcing buy orders to come in. Additionally, the funding rate is important. If shorts have to pay high interest to maintain their positions and the costs become too high, they will naturally choose to cut losses and exit.

The distribution of key support and resistance levels is as follows: once the $2.22 to $2.25 range is broken, the power of the short squeeze will significantly increase. Conversely, if the support at $2.00 to $2.05 holds, bullish sentiment can continue to dominate.

Another factor not to be ignored is that XRP has seen significant net inflows into ETFs recently, which is real spot support, not just speculative hype. This provides genuine backing for the price.

2.1 breaking through this level is indeed a bit fierce, but don't get too excited. Let's wait until it truly stabilizes at 2.25 before making any judgments.

2.1 Once this hurdle is overcome, it will depend on whether 2.25 can be accepted; otherwise, it's still a false alarm.

Another short squeeze show, is this really the wolf coming this time? Expecting XRP to break through 2.25, now is the time to lay in wait.

Short squeeze, it really depends on whether 2.25 can hold steady; otherwise, it might have to retest 2.05. However, the continuous net inflow of ETFs is indeed an interesting move.

If 2.25 breaks, I'll go all in. Anyway, I have a strong gambling spirit.

Once this critical level at 2.25 is broken, the bears will be sent straight to the moon by a rocket. Don't ask me how I know; just look at the open interest and you'll understand.
