Grabbed a coin around 50k yesterday. Watched it get absolutely wrecked, dipped hard below 20k at one point. Most people would've rage quit. I didn't. Loaded up more instead and held through it.

Just checked the portfolio a minute ago—we're sitting pretty at 10x returns now.

Here's the thing nobody wants to hear: my win here has nothing to do with Twitter clout, follower counts, or being plugged into some elite trading circle. No fancy Discord groups, no premium signals, none of that noise.

It was literally just one thing—actually having the conviction to buy the dip when everything looked terrifying. That's it. When others panic sell, some people panic buy more. That simple mindset difference separates the winners from the rest.

Timing the market matters less than you think. Staying rational when everyone else is emotional? That's the real edge.

To be honest, I've heard stories like this many times, and a 10x isn't particularly rare. The key question is whether you've ever had a failure afterward.

A 10x return sounds easy to talk about, but is it really just a mindset issue? --- Another story of "I didn't believe the big influencers," heard it too many times... --- Anyone can say buy low and sell high, but the key is how many can actually hold on? --- May I ask, are you still holding now, or have you already cashed out? --- Not trusting signals or following the trend sounds easier to say than to do. --- Is that all? I think luck also plays a pretty big role. --- Having a good mindset is great, but without capital to add positions, it's all pointless. --- Waiting for the next correction to see if you can still hold on.

ngl the "staying rational" part is where most people actually fail though. conviction's cheap to talk about, harder to execute when your portfolio's bleeding out. also curious what the actual validator dilution looks like post-exit—does this thesis hold when everyone's doing it?

To be honest, I've heard this explanation countless times before. It's just good luck that I happened to catch the rebound. If you insist on calling it a difference in mindset...

This guy is just talking about mindset. He's right, but it's getting old.

Really, I just can't stand this narrative of "I made it through faith." Sounds good, but what about luck?

Hey, isn't this just a normal survivor bias?

It's really about the difference in mindset; don't listen to those signal traders spouting nonsense.

Really, mindset is the biggest chip. Don't be brainwashed by any big V signals. --- A 10x return sounds great, but this guy is right. It’s about daring to buy, daring to hold, and not being driven by emotions. --- In simple terms, it’s a game of greed and fear; the winner is the one who can control that. --- The difference between panic buying and panic selling really can determine everything... --- This is the most scarce thing in Web3—pure psychological resilience. --- Can you get 10x without following anyone? Then all my premium signals are wasted? --- Another story of "I made money, so mindset is the most important." But this time, it’s quite honest. --- The key is not to collapse when it drops to 20k, which is really not easy. Most people already cut their losses and ran. --- Good point, but it still sounds uncomfortable... Everyone wants to have such conviction, but the question is, when to buy and when to run? --- No signals, no insiders, just relying on rationality to beat emotions. This is more precious in crypto than anything else.

A 10x return sounds great, but what about risk control and health factors? Not mentioned.
