That's precisely the point I've been making—stablecoin adoption can't happen in isolation. They need to integrate with the broader DeFi ecosystem. And here's the thing: native yield isn't just a nice bonus, it's actually a powerful incentive that can drive real adoption. When stables are plugged into yield-generating protocols, users have genuine reasons to hold and transact with them beyond just price stability.

NGL, this is what I want to see. Just sitting on stablecoins definitely won't work; you need returns to truly attract people.

Native yield is indeed key, but the problem is that most protocols can't hold up at all...

NGL, this is the correct answer; yield is the key.

I think this point is indeed correct. Stablecoins must be integrated into DeFi to survive; existing alone doesn't make much sense. Native yield is truly what can attract people. Who cares about just maintaining a stable price? Returns are the hard truth.

nah fr, this is where most people get rekt tho—they think yield is free money lmao. watch the cascade when rates compress and everyone liquidates at once...

I've been through it all. In 2018, that wave also hyped native yield like this. And in the end? The contract had vulnerabilities, the project team ran away, and I lost my coins. Now they're doing the same thing again. The DeFi ecosystem integration sounds good, but it's really just a Ponzi scheme self-sustaining. Genuine adoption shouldn't be based on enticing yields; those things don't last long.

Stablecoins only become meaningful when integrated into the ecosystem; existing alone, they are just decorations. The key is that native yield, from an ROI perspective, can truly leverage real trading volume.

That's right, stablecoins must be integrated with the DeFi ecosystem; going it alone won't work.

ngl, this is exactly what I've been wanting to say: creating stablecoins alone won't work; you need to integrate with the entire DeFi ecosystem.

Stablecoins need an ecosystem to succeed; just maintaining price stability alone can't attract people.
