Hyperliquid Whale earns 9.9 million in 22 days: After cashing out 255 BTC, engages in high-frequency trading, currently holding over 310 million in orders
【ChainNews】On-chain monitoring data shows that a big whale (address 0x94d…814) used an interesting strategy: 22 days ago, it dumped 255 BTC (worth $21.77 million at the time) into Hyperliquid and sold all of it at $85,378.
The story gets even more exciting from there. This whale started playing high-frequency trading with the proceeds: 69 trades, a 62% win rate, and a net profit of $9.9 million. This return rate is quite aggressive in the derivatives market.
In the past two days, the trend has shifted. The whale has started going long continuously, now holding a long position worth $310 million, though it is currently floating at a loss of $1.4 million. Interestingly, its long target is roughly aligned with another giant whale holding a $788 million long position. Together, these two whales have a total long position of $1.1 billion—accounting for one-third of the entire Hyperliquid platform’s longs.
This concentration of large positions is definitely worth paying attention to.
