Major financial institutions and trading platforms have stringent requirements when evaluating blockchain infrastructure. They're looking for solutions that eliminate counterparty risk entirely, offer extensive customization capabilities, demonstrate rock-solid resilience and uptime, and can scale without breaking a sweat. These aren't nice-to-haves—they're table stakes for enterprise adoption. Ethereum checks all these boxes, which is precisely why institutional players increasingly turn to it as their preferred settlement layer. Its combination of battle-tested security, flexible smart contract architecture, and proven scalability solutions makes it the natural choice for enterprises serious about Web3 infrastructure.

lol, the whole "ethereum is the natural choice" narrative conveniently ignores the correlation matrix between gas fees and institutional adoption rates. if you actually ran the regression analysis, you'd see that statistic is statistically insignificant outside bull markets.

NGL, Ethereum has really become the favorite of institutional backers now. To put it nicely, it's infrastructure; to be blunt, it's a centralized choice.

In simple terms, institutions are just afraid of being cut off. Ethereum has now become their safety net. The term "Battle-tested" is well used here; it has truly gone through storms and hardships.
