What's been bothering me lately is how the narrative landscape in crypto has shifted. Used to be the early builders and deep researchers would guide newcomers through the mechanics—the real stuff that matters. Now? You've got first-cycle traders who rode one lucky trade talking like they understand the fundamentals. They have no clue what's actually happening beneath the surface, yet somehow they've become the loud voices setting the tone.

There's a massive gap between surviving a bull run through pure luck and actually understanding the market mechanics. The problem is, from the outside, they look identical—until the next cycle tests whether it was skill or just timing.

That's why I don't pay attention to those influencers anymore; they just boast. Claiming to understand the fundamentals after a sudden windfall is just laughable. Let's see if you still boast during the next bear market. Everyone is a genius during a bull market, that's no lie. Wait, you said "until the next cycle tests"... so who should we believe now... Luck and skill are hard to distinguish, no wonder the community is so chaotic. I'm really tired; I can't tell who truly understands and who is just guessing blindly.

The lucky one is bragging; their true colors will show in the next bear market.

That's why the bear market is the real test, and those self-media influencers disappear as soon as winter comes.

A bunch of lucky guys really stirred up the water, now the whole screen is filled with stuff that teaches people to trade crypto just by luck. This wave will really have to wait until the next bear market to see the outcome, then we'll know who truly understands and who just relied on luck to get by. The air is getting thicker and thicker, it was about time to clear it out. Exactly, I really dislike those who become big shots after just one big profit, all their fundamentals are made up on the spot. Luck and ability are completely indistinguishable to outsiders, until you start losing money. It feels like the current crypto community's discourse power has been completely taken over by these charlatans, and those who actually do technical work are ignored. That's why I think the next cycle will be very tough, too many people are just getting certified and entering the field.

Honestly, the crypto world has changed a long time ago. Now it's all about Luck Brother being overly confident. Survivor bias is the most terrifying. Those who haven't experienced a bear market dare to talk about fundamentals. This new generation, after a single surge, thinks they've understood everything. It's hilarious. Next bear market will reveal the true players. Then we'll see who really understands and who is just gambling. Deep researchers have already been drowned out by noise. Such a pity. Really, understanding the mechanism and luck are almost the same. That's the most ironic part. It's all just a bunch of overnight riches voices trying to set the rhythm. Where have the original builders gone? Hey, just by a stroke of luck, they dare to come out and talk. Isn't this a common problem in the crypto circle?

You're so right. Now it's all lucky guys pretending to be big shots. Those who truly understand the protocol have long been quietly building things. The ones left are just those who got rich from a market surge and are now going around giving lectures. When the bear market comes, you'll see who really has the goods.

Really, right now this circle is full of lucky ones barking, selling luck as faith. Next bear market will see who is still alive, and then naturally the winners will be distinguished. This wave of narrative shift is really disgusting. In the past, at least some people talked about mechanisms, now it's just those with good luck teaching others to trade coins. The most outrageous part of survivor bias is right here: if you make money, you become an expert; if you lose, you shut up. Hey, wait a minute, what you just said really hits home. I was also misled by these people and believed in their fundamental analysis. The next round of爆雷 will reveal the true story, and then we'll know who the paper tigers are. It feels like the current crypto discourse has completely fallen apart, full of noise from short-term traders. When the bear market comes, these people run faster than anyone else, then blame the market, not themselves.

That's a brilliant point. This wave is indeed the time when survivor bias is at its most rampant.

Relying on luck to make a quick profit and then pretending to understand the fundamentals—this generation of retail investors is really outrageous... The next bear market will reveal the true nature.
