Lisa Chi Joins RH Leadership as President and Co-Chief Merchandising & Creative Officer

Luxury lifestyle retailer RH has tapped Lisa Chi for a prominent role in shaping its product strategy and creative direction. In her position as President and Co-Chief Merchandising & Creative Officer, Chi will report directly to RH Chairman & CEO Gary Friedman and partner with Eri Chaya, who holds the same co-leadership title and sits on the RH Board of Directors.

Extensive Retail Leadership Background

Chi brings a distinguished career spanning multiple renowned retailers to this role. Most recently, she served as Chief Merchandising Officer at Arhaus, where she oversaw Product Development, Merchandising, Inventory Planning, Sourcing, Quality and Manufacturing. During her tenure at Arhaus, the company achieved significant growth milestones. Prior to her tenure at Arhaus, Chi held the position of Senior Vice President of Merchandising for Upholstery at RH, where she gained deep familiarity with the company’s operations across Merchandising, Inventory Planning, Sourcing and Manufacturing.

Her retail career extends across several prominent brands. Chi held senior merchandising roles at Talbots, Kohl’s and Lucky Brand, building substantial expertise in product development and brand strategy. She began her retail career at Gap Inc., accumulating over a decade of progressive merchandise leadership experience. Chi holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Policy from Stanford University.

Shared Vision for RH’s Growth

As co-leader alongside Eri Chaya, Chi will oversee critical functions including Product Development, Merchandising, Inventory Planning, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Marketing across RH’s Physical, Print, and Digital Platforms.
