This market cycle has been a bit strange, and many people actually can't understand it. Those who truly have a sense of it are the participants who came up from the bottom in 2020. But to truly understand what is happening now, at least you need to have experienced two complete cycles: 2017 and 2021. People who have experienced fewer cycles lack a dimension in their understanding of the market.

I have seen too many people, even after being warned countless times in advance, end up in the same situation. Most likely, they choose to hide on the sidelines and watch when emotions are most tangled and the market is most stubborn. And then? When looking back later, they realize the opportunity had already passed. The period of November and December 2020 is a vivid example.

Interestingly, this cannot simply be attributed to poor judgment. Ultimately, it is a human nature issue. No matter how sufficient the information is or how clear the logic, when fear and greed intertwine, the brain is likely to shut down.

The market will never give you a clear starting signal; it only silently paves the way when things are the hardest. When most people react and rush in, looking back at the charts, they realize that the light at the end of the tunnel had already begun long ago.

I've only experienced one complete cycle, so it's understandable if I don't understand.

Human nature really can't be changed. Even though we know fear is the biggest enemy, we still hide. --- People who experienced 17 and 21 years, how are they doing now? How much stronger are they than new rookies? --- It's always hindsight that makes you regret. The key is who can stay calm during the toughest times. --- To put it simply, when everyone is greedy, you need to be cautious; when everyone is cautious, you need to be aggressive. --- So, is it the hardest time now or has it already passed? I really can't tell. --- Having gone through two complete cycles, it's truly different. That feeling is etched in my mind. --- The most heartbreaking thing is that even knowing these principles, your mind goes blank at critical moments. --- Those who missed the 2020 wave are probably still regretting it now.

yo, this is literally like watching a soufflé collapse mid-rise... everyone's staring at the oven but nobody understands the proof-of-work happening inside, ngl

That hits too close to home. I'm the kind of person who still hesitates despite being reminded countless times, haha. The hardest part now isn't understanding the market trends, but having money in hand at that moment and just not being able to make a move. Two cycles really change people. Those who haven't experienced it can't imagine that kind of psychological resilience. It's always the same. Knowing full well that fear is the biggest enemy, but at critical moments, we still chicken out. Bottom signals never come with loud gongs and drums; that's the most frustrating part. I admit it's not a matter of judgment, but even knowing that, I can't change my greed. I truly saw the 2020 wave coming, but I still missed it. Now I have a bit of PTSD. That's how the market is—by the time you react, the opportunities are already gone.

You're so right. I was really scared during that wave at the end of 2020. Thinking back now, I regret it to the core.
