After reviewing the year, to be honest, I’m not too anxious.
The beginning of the year was indeed tough—pockets were empty, accounts were heavily in the red, and I was in a state of confusion, unable to see the way forward clearly.
The turning point came in Q3. In Q3 and Q4, I seized several opportunities and achieved a turnaround in Web3-related projects. I even thought I could end the year on a high note.
But what happened? By the end of the year, I still fell into greed. I wanted to go all in on everything I saw, blindly chasing high prices on many projects, and in the end, all the gains were completely eaten up.
The biggest takeaway of this year isn’t how much I earned, but that I realized—self-control is truly more valuable than luck. Next year, I need to learn to say no.

Greed is a disease, and all the profits made in Q3 and Q4 have to be given back. I understand it all too well.

Greed is really a terrible flaw. Even though Q3 and Q4 turned around, they still go all-in to self-destruct. Isn't this the classic pattern of making money and then losing it?

Resisting and saying no sound easy, but in reality, it's extremely difficult. You did catch the wave in Q3, but the greed game is replayed in every bull and bear cycle. The problem is, you'll still make the same mistakes next time.

Greed really is the devil. Q3Q4 finally turned around, but then self-sabotaged.
