A platform recently launched a trading solution that is indeed impressive—using perpetual contracts to trade FX, individual stocks, ETFs, and commodity futures. The biggest highlight is that these contracts have no expiration date, completely freeing traders from the constraints of traditional rollover contracts. This design makes trading liquidity and position management much more flexible and is an interesting improvement over the traditional futures model.

Perpetual contracts are really great, no longer have to be chased by settlement dates.

Perpetual contracts sound good, but I'm worried it's just another new scheme to trap retail investors.

no expiry dates sound cool until you realize it's just another way to trap retail in perpetual liquidation cycles... been here since mt. gox, seen this movie before ngl

Perpetual contracts sound good, but the key is how the funding rate is charged and how slippage is controlled. These are the real supply line issues on the battlefield.

Perpetual contracts have a truly innovative gameplay, no need to worry about delivery dates every day, but the question is whether the slippage will be larger.
