Which chains are leading DEX trading right now? The latest data reveals an interesting landscape across the decentralized exchange ecosystem.

Solana continues to show strong momentum in onchain trading activity, while established players like Ethereum and BNB Chain maintain their dominance through robust liquidity pools. Base has been gaining significant traction lately, alongside Layer 2 solutions like Arbitrum.

Beyond these, the DEX landscape spans diverse ecosystems—Hyperliquid's derivatives-focused model, Sui's high-throughput design, Avalanche's cross-chain capabilities, Polygon's scaling solutions, and NEAR's developer-friendly environment all attract different trading volumes. Emerging chains like Monad and Aptos continue building momentum, while established networks like Tron and Thorchain maintain their specialized niches in the broader trading ecosystem.

This fragmented DEX activity across 15+ major chains shows how trading volume has become distributed rather than concentrated, reflecting the maturation of multichain infrastructure and traders' increasing comfort across different blockchain environments.

Sol has definitely risen this time, but Ethereum is still Ethereum. When it comes to liquidity, honestly, no one can replace it.

Solana's recent move is really impressive, but I still believe that ETH's liquidity is the key... The rapid rise of Base shows that the multi-chain era has truly arrived.

The Solana ecosystem is indeed strong, but I still think no one can match the liquidity depth of ETH. Basically, each chain has its own playstyle, it seems like I need to diversify across multiple chains to buy the dip. Base has really taken off, I didn't pay much attention before, but now I'm starting to follow it. 15 chains are spreading the volume, and rather than saying it's mature, it feels more like a competition. Those second-layer stacking, how cheap can the transaction fees get... I'm a bit numb to it. Monad and Aptos are hyped up again, every time a new chain emerges, they say the ecosystem is about to explode, but what's the result? I've heard that Hyperliquid's derivation has really low slippage, but the risks are... I don't need to say more.

sol has taken off again, which is a bit annoying. When will it be our base's turn?

ngl, this "fragmentation" narrative is exactly what worries me. more chains = more attack surface. DYOR on which DEX actually audited their contracts before moving your liquidity there.
