You want to know what separates traders from everyone else? It's not the fancy charts or the perfect entry points.
I just closed a Bitcoin position that taught me everything. My stop loss was sitting there, and the trade came within $8 of getting absolutely wrecked. Eight dollars. That's it.
Think about what most people do in that moment. They panic. They question everything. They start thinking their whole strategy is broken. The noise in their head gets louder than the signal on the chart.
But here's the thing—I didn't. I held the position. Not because I was fearless, but because I had a plan. And the plan didn't change just because price decided to visit the danger zone.
That $8 gap? It's the difference between the people still trading and the ones who quit. It's the difference between discipline and emotion. Most people will never experience what it actually feels like to watch your stop loss almost get hit and have the guts to stay in anyway.

Almost getting liquidated and still holding calmly? Basically, it's the difference between having a plan and not having a plan. Most people were already crying in the community at that moment.

8 dollars almost led to bankruptcy, can this really explain the problem? It still seems to depend on the size of your account.

With just an 8 yuan difference, most people have already Get Liquidated and had to bail-in. Really, with a slightly worse mindset, the outcome could have been completely different.

That's the real lesson nobody talks about.
