Recently, there has been a significant development in the financial sector - the UK Law Commission has officially proposed to legally recognize ETH and other encryption assets as "property". What appears to be a straightforward identification verification actually involves a breakthrough in the entire encryption ecosystem's institutional framework.

What does this judgment mean? First, your digital assets are now legally protected. Previously, if coins were stolen or scams occurred, there was no way to protect your rights. Now it’s different; the court will recognize that this asset belongs to you, and judicial relief becomes possible. This is a solid guarantee of rights for ordinary holders.

More importantly, there are changes at the institutional level. What have hedge funds and pension funds been waiting for? They are waiting for a clear legal nature. Once the assets' identification is confirmed, the compliance departments of these traditional financial giants will dare to give the green light. We might be discussing the entry of trillions of dollars, which is not an exaggeration.

From another perspective, this action by the UK also has a triggering effect on the US SEC. The US has been struggling with whether ETH counts as a security, while the UK has made it clear—this is property. Regulatory systems in various countries are referencing each other, and when a developed financial system sets a precedent, it becomes difficult for other regions to continue to stand by. The approval process for spot ETFs may accelerate as a result.

Essentially, ETH is transitioning from the "encryption wilderness" to the "mainstream asset" identification. Legal endorsement, institutional participation, and global consensus, these three conditions are gradually maturing. The market's revaluation potential is truly worth looking forward to.

Wait a minute, the UK made a really smart move by directly defining ETH as property... what else can the SEC pretend to do now?
