Woke up this morning and checked my account—damn, it dropped from 2 million back to 1.4 million again.

Honestly, the first time it fell from 2 million to 1.4 million, I was pretty calm—losses are just part of the game, who in this space hasn't been rekt before? But dropping back a second time really numbed me. Why? Because the first loss was within expectations, I could accept it; the second time, it felt like I was about to make a comeback, but the gains slipped away at the last moment—that sense of disappointment is even worse than just losing money.

Let me talk about my trades. I closed out all my short positions on SOL. At its peak, this trade was up over 40k USDT, but I didn't exit early and, to guard against black swan events, I ended up closing at breakeven. After that, I increased my short position on ETH. The logic was pretty simple: all the bullish news had already been priced in, the upgrade hype was about done, and once expectations are met, it's usually a good time for whales to dump. Plus, there's that old rule—prices tend to drop around major meetings—so I thought this short was worth the risk.

That's how this business is: you make money and then lose it, lose it and then make it back. It all comes down to mentality and judgment. The account balance will fluctuate, but your trading strategy can't get messy.

From here, I'll be watching the charts closely—won't hesitate to enter when it's time, and will never cling to a losing position when it's time to exit. The road ahead is long, so I'll just keep moving forward one step at a time.
SOL-4.58%
ETH-5.79%

The meat in my mouth flew away again, this feeling is really incredible, more painful than directly losing money. It's a bit cowardly to clear all the SOL short positions, just a 40,000 floating profit and you run to break even? Did ETH's short position bet right this time? Is the strategy of falling every time there's a meeting still effective? My mentality is collapsing, brother. From 200 to 140 and then back, how tough must the heart be? Adding to the ETH short position is a bit aggressive, but the logic of meeting expectations is indeed solid. This is destiny. Making money and losing it back, losing and then making it again—anyone would be numb to this.

Bro, we really need to learn from this one. Missing out on profits hurts even more than taking a direct loss. From 200 down to 140—where did things go wrong? It still comes down to mindset. Exiting at break-even was a bit conservative, but surviving to trade another day is already a win. I think the key is not to let the constant ups and downs mess with your decisions. Watching the charts nonstop needs to be done in moderation—don’t numb yourself by overdoing it. This business really tests your mentality; it’s even more of a challenge than your judgment.

Back to 140 again, it's really hard to handle. Can this wave of ETH short positions make it through?

Oh no, it's the same old trick again. Unrealized gains evaporating is the worst. All-in, gotta keep a steady mindset, bro. It always drops during meetings, this pattern is just insane. Meat was almost in my mouth but flew away, hurts even more than a direct loss. If you bet right on this short position, you can turn things around; if you bet wrong, the pain continues.

The meat was almost in my mouth, but now it's gone. This feeling is really something else. Gotta keep a steady mindset.
