Ethereum has been surging quite a lot these past couple of days. Could this be the market pricing in expectations of a rate cut? The logic here isn’t hard to understand—once there’s an expectation of easing policies, capital starts flowing into crypto assets. We’ve seen plenty of similar scenarios in the past. That said, how far a rally purely driven by rate cut expectations can go still depends on whether there’s fundamental support going forward.

I've seen enough of these interest rate cut expectations; the key is whether they can actually materialize. What I really f***ing fear is that it surges halfway and then suddenly crashes, totally slapping me in the face. This ETH rally is indeed insane, but it feels more and more like it's overextended. I'm not into those livestream rooms; I much prefer watching the candlesticks myself.
