This ETH trade was a bit unfortunate. Shortly after entering, the price broke below the daily opening price on the 15-minute chart. I was scalping for a short-term trade and set a tight stop loss, so I exited early according to discipline.
To be honest, my directional bias was actually correct, but I was a bit too eager with the entry timing. However, looking at it in combination with the BTC long position setup, the overall strategy was still on track. Risk control was fairly well executed; although I missed out on the subsequent move, at least I didn’t let the losses widen.

Your stop-loss is too tight, bro. Scalping does make it easy to get wiped out.

Ah, this is the fate of scalping—setting stop-losses too tight just gets you shaken out.

A tight stop-loss does tend to get triggered easily, but at least it prevents major losses. I guess it's a rational choice.

This stop loss is set too tight. Scalping feels good in the moment, but you'll end up losing big later.

Stop-losses are too tight; with scalping, it's easy to get stopped out.

That's the fate of scalping—tighten your stop-loss and it immediately reverses and pumps. Isn't it frustrating?
