Let me share my judgment on this Huangguo project—it's basically dead.
Did you see the project team's response saying "an internal investigation is underway"? When they use this kind of wording, it's basically just stalling for time. The logic is simple: if they really wanted to solve the problem, wouldn't they just announce the investigation results and a solution? What's with the "still investigating" routine? Most likely, they're preparing an exit plan.
I've seen this routine too many times: first, they stall with vague statements, then the team gradually disappears, finally the community dissolves, and you can't get your money back. So my advice is—if you need to defend your rights, do it. Collect your evidence, and if you need to go the legal route, go for it. Don't foolishly wait for them to "finish investigating" before taking action.
Anyway, I have no hope left. Everyone should make their own decisions.

The tricks for fleecing retail investors haven't changed.
